Amy Scarella, founder ofLBD Rescue,has a passion for helping dogs who are thrown away. Amy has been rescuing with various local groups in Connecticut as well as Georgia, North Carolina and Puerto Rico. As a former school teacher and now self-employed, Amy relies on the generosity of animal-lovers to make rescuing, rehabilitating and placing each deserving soul in the best home imaginable. Little Black Dog Rescue is foster-based  while Amy resides in South Carolina.
